For
many years my son had struggled with school and
social issues. I was not familiar with Specific
Learning Disabilities prior, and soon learned
that my son had SLD. I took the parent classes,
and learned a lot of valuable information. The
help and guidance I received from the staff was
crucial to my son getting the kind of education
he needed. Going into IEP meetings as a parent,
with many teachers and school staff, can be very
intimidating. But, with LDACC’s training
and assistance, I felt more than adequately equipped.
LDACC has many classes for
all age groups and issues that may be going on
in a child’s life. They address subjects
that are not only pertinent, but in my opinion,
necessary. The content and presentation exhibit
a wealth of knowledge and resources. I highly
recommend LDACC and their classes to anyone, from
LD children, to their parents, and to their teachers. |
